Hi there,
Two changes this week that save you clicks. You can now edit due dates on many invoices at once, and add a Stripe payment link to any invoice so clients can pay straight from it.
We also fixed two bugs: PDF exports that lost the last line item, and recurring invoices that landed a day early in some timezones.

Release notes are the first thing cut on a Friday.
So customers never hear what shipped. A week of fixes and features turns into one line that nobody reads.

Connect a repo
Pick the repos and branches that count as a release. Shipnote reads PR titles, descriptions and merge dates. It does not keep your source code.
-
Review the draft
You get a draft in your voice, learned from the last few releases you wrote by hand. Reword a line, drop one, or add a screenshot.
-
Publish once, send everywhere
One click puts it on your public changelog page, in the email to your list and in the in-app announcement.
What you get back
-
Customers see what shipped.
Every fix and feature you merged gets a line they can read, so the people paying for the product know it is moving.
-
Support links a note instead of explaining.
When someone asks if the PDF bug is fixed, support sends the changelog line and moves on.
-
The Friday chore goes away.
The draft is waiting when you open Shipnote. You review it instead of starting from a blank page at 5pm.
Before you sign up
What does Shipnote read from GitHub?
PR titles, descriptions, labels and merge dates. It does not read your diffs or your source files, and it only looks at the repos and branches you pick.
Does it publish without me?
No. Every draft waits for you. Nothing reaches your changelog page, your email list or your app until you approve it.
Who writes the drafts?
Claude, through the Anthropic API. Your PR text is sent there to write the draft, and the draft comes back to you for editing.
When do I get access?
Access opens in batches, in order of signup. We email you when your batch opens.
What does it cost?
Free during the private beta. We will announce pricing before the beta ends.
Does it work with GitLab or Bitbucket?
Not yet. The beta reads from GitHub only. Tell us where your code lives when you sign up and it helps us decide what comes next.
